 It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Prince George’s Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc.(PGBCC), the Greater Washington Area’s premier business
association. We are incorporated in the State of
Maryland as a non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (c) (3)
organization whose mission is to aggressively
promote business prosperity and community
enrichment in Prince George's County by actively
assisting small, local and minority-owned
businesses in their development and growth.
The PGBCC has become the leader for business
and professional issues as they relate to small
and minority-owned businesses in Prince George's
County. We will continue to act as the
voice of small, local and minority owned
businesses in Prince George’s County as we have
since our incorporation in February 2001. We are
focused on fostering positive economic growth
for the business community-at-large and to
sustain it through economic equity and
entrepreneurial education. We are
committed to serving as a proactive advocate on
behalf of our members and the Prince George's
business community in general. In August
2002, we were nationally recognized for our
efforts by the National Black Chamber of
Commerce at its Annual Conference in Milwaukee,
WI, by being named " The New Chamber o the Year,
2002".
The PGBCC was organized to promote business growth and development in Prince George’s County. When you join the Black Chamber, you become connected to people, who understand business, have vision and a willingness to share the power of leadership and will create opportunities for your professional success.
